Gaschromatographic Determination of Atropine Sulfate

Abstract
We applied a gas chromatograph method for the determination of atropine sulfate for the purpose of establishment of assay of that in formulation.
Atropine sulfate could be determinated by peak height rations. The optimum range was 50r/ml-100r/ml. The optimum conditions of gas chromatograph were as follows; column: Stainless 6 feet in the length and 1.8" in outer diameter; column package: 45~65mesh chromasorb G. coated with 3% methyl silicon; column temperature: 300¡É; inlet temperature : 330¡É; Carrier : Helium 60ml/min.
